Thank you Port Moody
We are thrilled about this Council's recognition of the significant need to increase the delivery of new housing in this region. Wesgroup has significant experience building master-planned communities, and we will be at the table in Port Moody and with Council delivering those much-needed homes for years to come. Together, we can create a vibrant and resilient neighbourhood that is truly "Made in Port Moody".
Together, we have arrived at a proposal for the neighbourhood that we believe Port Moody can be proud of.

Thanks for attending our open house
Wesgroup has submitted a Zoning By-law Amendment for Coronation Park within the City of Port Moody to permit a mixed-use development with a new 2.55-acre city park, 1.5 acres of public accessible pathways, an Ioco Pedestrian Overpass, 9,500 square feet of daycare space, and 2,000 square feet of civic amenity.
The proposal includes approximately 2,587 homes, including 101 market rental homes with a range of housing options and tower heights between 6 and 31-storeys; 107,000 square feet of retail use, including 30,000 square feet of office space, and a grocery and drug store.
On April 5, 2023 we hosted an online and in-person open house where over 100 people attended.

What we've been up to
In the Fall of 2022, we were excited to have some members of Council tour our River District master plan in Vancouver. We try to do this with many of the Councils and City Staff that we work with across the region, to engage in conversation about community building, master planning, impacts of the BC Step Code on building design and architecture along with opportunities that exist with Wesgroup being a long-term housing partner.
In Port Moody, we did this with members of the prior Council, as well as the new Council, and want to thank the members of Council who were able to attend.
